Among the components of the S&P BSE Utilities index, Adani Power Ltd (down 5%), Adani Transmission Ltd (down 5%),Adani Green Energy Ltd (down 5%),KPI Green Energy Ltd (down 2.86%),Reliance Power Ltd (down 2.66%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were NLC India Ltd (down 2.55%), CESC Ltd (down 2.31%), Nava Ltd (down 1.79%), Tata Power Company Ltd (down 1.71%), and JSW Energy Ltd (down 1.48%).

On the other hand, Jaiprakash Power Ventures Ltd (up 3.67%), Torrent Power Ltd (up 3.47%), and Inox Green Energy Services Ltd (up 1.33%) turned up.

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 29.93 or 0.05% at 57623.93.

The Nifty 50 index was down 23 points or 0.14% at 16962.7.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 195.23 points or 0.74% at 26171.22.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 43.95 points or 0.52% at 8340.39.

On BSE,956 shares were trading in green, 2501 were trading in red and 120 were unchanged.
